Our mission is to provide the law abiding citizens of Kansas and their guests with safer communities to live/visit in by keeping the violent offenders off our streets. We will achieve our objectives by lobbying the Kansas legislature in Topeka to change the laws that allow murderers, rapists, pedophiles, and other violent offenders out of prison with temporary or no supervision at all. Kansas does have capital punishment, but currently does not use this crime deterrent. Those of us here at Justice Wanted would like not only to use this tool to reduce future crimes, but also to install an express lane. The appeal process should take no longer than 5 years; after this time frame, prisoners who have been sentenced to die should be executed at the first convenient opportunity.

We wish to educate the public about the situation that exists across our State of Kansas, where violent offenders are released into the general population with only temporary, minimal supervision. In 2002, there were over 19,000 people in Kansas on parole supervision. Historically, within 3 years we can expect 67% of all released inmates to be arrested again; over half of those will be incarcerated again, as repeat offenders.

Help us in our fight to keep violent criminals and repeat offenders in jail where they belong.
